Bicentennial Monument

Located in Victoria, Mahé, the Bicentennial Monument was erected in 1978 to commemorate 200 years since the first settlers arrived in Seychelles in 1778. Designed by Seychellois artist Lorenzo Appiani, the monument symbolizes the nation’s multicultural heritage and unity.
